This image was a commission for a planetarium show being put out by NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory.
You'll have to scroll over to see the entire image. This is a panoramic shot that shows Galileo gazing out
at the stars with his telescope. The stars are projected onto this image at the planetarium show. The actual image was
drawn out to be 45 inches long. Once I had drawn it all I scanned it into the computer, cleaned it up in Photoshop and
added all of the colored elements. It was completed in March of 2003.
