This picture was drawn and inked by hand and then colored in Photoshop. This image was completed in April of 2003.

The part of the story that this image applies to is, "The maiden, however, firmly resolved to deliver her brothers,
even if it should cost her life. She left the hut, went into the midst of the forest, seated herself on a tree,
and there passed the night."
