After I got "Ring of Fire" stuck in my head one day, I soon found myself drawing Joaquin Phoenix. He's such a good actor.

I drew and inked this on watercolor paper and then painted over it with a series of ink washes.
Then I scanned it and did the coloring in Photoshop with my tablet. Completed in March of 2006.
