This picture is inspired by those U2 lyrics and Hans Christian Andersen's The Little Mermaid,
one of my favorite fairy tales. I composed this in Photoshop with my tablet, incorporating a few elements
that I drew and painted on watercolor paper and then scanned in. It was fun to take a break from all
the pictures I've been doing lately that use heavy lineart and to just make something that's much more painterly.
