I really enjoyed the new Superman movie, Superman Returns. I went in to it with some worries but came out all smiles.
I thought Brandon Routh made a great Superman. And obviously, when I like something I tend to make fanart of it. Plus, I'm a sucker for a good profile.

Anyhow, this was drawn on watercolor paper with brown colored pencil and then painted over with a series of black ink washes to
establish a base for me to work from when coloring. All color was then added in Photoshop using my tablet. It was finished in
July of 2006. Obviously, the character Superman is owned by DC.
