This portrait of Gambit was done for the Superhero Masterpiece Project that's been organized on the deviantArt website.
Basically, what we were supposed to do is pick a superhero (or villain) and make a picture of them that's in
the style of a famous work of art. Alphonse Mucha is one of my favorite artists, and Gambit is probably my favorite superhero,
so I decided to make my picture of Gambit in the art nouveau style and to have it mimic Mucha's Job Cigarettes poster.

I drew and painted all of this in Photoshop with my tablet. Completed in November of 2006.
