This was my entry for the Darth Artsy Fan Art Contest that's being held for the 30th anniversary of A New Hope over on Live Journal. I so wanted to
be Princess Leia when I was a little kid. She got to fight right along with the guys, helps to rescue her rescuers, and winds up with Han Solo in the end. Not a bad deal at all.
This started out on watercolor paper with brown pencil and ink washes and was then digitally colored in Photoshop with my tablet. From January of 2007.

And the best part? I won first place in the contest - whoo!
