I made this painting of my family's dog, Tobey, for my parents for a Christmas gift for 2003. He had sadly died that Thanksgiving, and my mom had mentioned
that she would like to have a painting of him, so I made this as a surprise.

The darkest blacks in the actual painting are not that streaky, I just had a bit of difficulty photographing this. This oil painting measures 16" by 13" and was completed in December of 2003.
