I painted this in 2004. This is actually from a series of three paintings I did, but this is by far my favorite from the series and the only one I feel
is good enough to post. This was done with oil paints and is based on a photograph I took at Rosedown Plantation in Louisiana. That photo was in
broad daylight however, so I had a lot of fun turning it into my idea of what it would look like in moonlight.
