Just a quick note from me to let you know that I got an e-mail saying that my web server is closing down soon. I'll be switching servers and transferring everything over to a new one, so if the site vanishes for a few days that's why. Just giving you all some advance notice.

Here's some in progress coloring of that Six Swans image I posted a while back. I'm trying out a new coloring style and this still has massive amounts of work that need to be done to it, but I figured I'd post it anyways since I've been kind of MIA lately.

This is the fifth and final portrait picture that I needed to make for the hero project I'm working on. This is Atalanta from Greek mythology.

Here's a preliminary sketch for a picture that's going to show the ugly step-sisters from "Cinderella". It's for my illustration class and we had to pick a scene from a popular fairy tale or Mother Goose rhyme. Only catch is that it's going to have to be illustrated with cut paper or collage or as some kind of relief. It's going to be a fun project :-)

This is just one of the in progress drawings that are coming along for that project I'm doing on The Six Swans. This drawing obviously still has a lot that needs to be done in it.

Here's some in-progress coloring of that Pippin sketch I posted a while back in March. I did decide to go ahead in finish it, but I've only been working on it a tiny bit here and there. I love Pippin. He's such a cutie. Some day when I'm living on my own I'm going to have a dog and name him Pippin.

This was a project for my illustration class. I used acrylic paint on illustration board. We had to show a strange event that had actually happened. My strange event was that one summer, at the camp where I've worked the past couple of years, the local librarian came over and read the younger kids the book If You Give a Pig a Pancake. When she was done with the story, one of the staff people came out in a pig costume to play with the younger kids. The only problem was that the 9 and 10 year old boys looked around and, by process of elimination, they figured out that the person in the pig costume was the lead counselor for their age group. They proceeded to attack and maul the pig. Was quite amusing, and I luckily had taken some photos which helped out immensely with this assignment.

Yet another drawing for the hero project. If you didn't recognize him, this is Luke Skywalker.

04.05.03 Saturday @3:42 PM EST

Another drawing for the hero project. This is Sir Gawain, one of the knights of King Arthur's Round Table.

04.04.03 Friday @5:48 PM EST

Here's a portrait of Eowyn. This picture goes along with the Tarzan one for a project about heroes that I'm doing for my computer graphics class. And this drawing is not based on Miranda Otto's Eowyn in the movie, but more just what I pictured when I read the books.

Oh look, Tarzan comes in color too.

@12:08 AM EST

Me Tarzan. You Jane. (insert obligatory jungle call here)

That little creature thingie from my notebook doodles seems to have popped up again. I don't know what the heck he is, just some mutt from my brain. But he's fun to draw, so I messed around a bit with markers and Photoshop. Nothing special, just a quick doodle. I'll try to get some more worthwhile stuff up here later in the week.
