12.27.02 Friday @1:27 PM EST This is nothing special, just a quick sketch of Yuna from Final Fantasy X. I think the picture was from either the cover art for the game or from the instruction booklet. The last FF game I played was VIII, but X looks like a really cool game. Plus, I'm a sucker for interesting character designs. Her chin is too big in this sketch. 12.26.02 Thursday @11:22 PM EST I was digging through some old sketches last night and found this Harry Potter one that I had never finished. The penciled in boy on the right is Ron and he's holding his owl Pig. The girl is Hermione, if the curly hair and book wasn't enough of a clue. This drawing has to be from sometime in 2000 and I just forgot about it and never went back to it. I've gotten better at drawing people since then and I've never really done a decent Harry Potter picture, so I should give it another shot. I really want to get my own ideas for Remus Lupin and Sirius Black on paper before the Azkaban movie comes out. 12.08.02 Sunday @6:10 PM EST I was watching the movie Return to Oz with some friends today, and while I was watching it I decided to draw a woman from the Emerald City. It's not really anything that I spent a lot of time on - just inked my pencil sketch and then quickly colored it in with colored pencils. I didn't realize till after I had inked it that the hand holding her hat is kind of backwards. Good thing this is only a sketch. 12.07.02 Saturday @7:08 PM EST Ha - it's me! A friend of mine took a picture of me for one of his photography assignments and gave me a copy of it. I decided to turn it into a drawing. The line work was inked on paper and it was colored in photoshop. Nothing fancy. 12.06.02 Friday @7:02 PM EST I finished inking the Christmas card. Now I just have to color it. And I like the way the snowman looks much better now that I changed the arms. 12.05.02 Thursday @4:11 PM EST It's that time of year again. Time for me to make a Christmas card. I did a quick sketch the other night that I think I may use. I have to change the snowman's arms before I ink it though. I don't like their placement. 12.01.02 Sunday @2:18 PM EST I had started sketching a faerie while I was at the student center doing laundry one day. Have to pass the time somehow, you know? Anyways, over the next few days I kept messing around with the sketch and when it got to a point I was fairly happy with I inked it all. I'm currently working on coloring it in Photoshop like I've done with other drawings, but here's the plain black and white line version. Also, all of the drawings from November have been archived. | | |
