Another drawing for that old school Hollywood series I'm slowly working on. Here's Vivien Leigh.
If I could steal one talent from a Hollywood actor or actress it would be to be able to arch just a single eyebrow like Vivien Leigh could.

I finished coloring that masquerade drawing, but I don't think it will be getting a background for a while. I'm just too busy with school assignments, so I'm going to have to wait to completely finish this until I get a bigger chunk of free time.

Just one of the ideas I'm tossing around for a Mad Hatter picture to go with the ones I did of the White Rabbit and the Cheshire Cat. I've been going for a slightly insane look for the characters in these pictures. Cause, ya know, everyone's nuts in Wonderland.

This is an oil painting that I had to turn in yesterday. It's about 26" wide and 20" tall on canvas, and is based off a photo that I took in May.

The finished Cheshire Cat picture. He's totally cracked. Ha ;-)
10.20.03 Monday @11:01 PM EST
An in progress Cheshire Cat. I'm going to paint it to match the White Rabbit one below.
10.19.03 Sunday @8:19 PM EST
I liked the little White Rabbit sketch I did last night so much that I decided to do a finshed version of it. Acrylics and ink on bristol board, roughly 9" by 11 3/4".

Some Alice in Wonderland doodles. I'm especially fond of the White Rabbit sketch. He's a neurotic French rabbit. Or at least I think he should be.
10.12.03 Sunday @5:58 PM EST
I started coloring that elf woman sketch that I posted on Friday. It's so much more fun and much quicker to work with a Wacom tablet than a mouse.
10.10.03 Friday @4:12 PM EST
No classes on this wonderful Friday, so I have declared it a day of doodling and drawing. It's so fun to just draw and not worry about school assignments. I'll leave that for tomorrow and Sunday.
10.05.03 Sunday @9:21 PM EST
An in progress painting I'm working on. It's acrylic paint on 20" x 15" illustration board. I'm using colored pencils for just some minor details. This is based on a photo that I took in May, in Disney World of all places. All of the drawings for September have now been archived. And no school tomorrow! YAY!
10.04.03 Saturday @2:24 PM EST
An in progress drawing. I was watching Ever After and felt the need to draw a masquerade dress. For those who are curious, I was going for a phoenix look. Inked on paper, and I'm doing the coloring in photoshop.
10.03.03 Friday @8:01 PM EST
Just a photoshop and tablet doodle. Look, floppy ears and tiger eyes. Ooooo. There are also three new paintings posted in the portfolio.
